If you are not living in Los Angeles and do not watch Public Access TV you could go through your whole life without even knowing about the “Francine Dancer Variety Show”. The concept of Francine’s show is easily explained: She dances, sings, sometimes plays the guitar and strips (PG13). As you can see on the photograph, she’s not exactly 20 years old and she normally is depending on her wheelchair – bad cards for a go-go dancer. “Can she sing?” you may ask yourself. Well, yes, kind of. But she sings better than she plays guitar…
Why is the show so addicting? Because Francine does not even care! I found the first clip at Scott Polk’s site Purple Twinkie and was a fan from the first minute!
