Germany is beaming with pride! Now that ‘we are Pope’ and soccer world champions (We did win, didn’t we?) it was taken for granted that we will win the Oscar too!
The movie is called The Life of the Others and focuses on the way the SED and the Stasi observed its population. A Hollywood remake is already in the making, so first speculations arise regarding the casting. Sven from Berlin has prepared three proposals on his blog.
