The In-Sect - article - video - web - RG Animation Studios: Backkom

I found a few clips at YouTube tagged with “Funny Bear” or “Polar Bear” or “I hate Sport”. I’ve not seen this animation style before and wanted to know: Who made these?
Well,they are made by the Korean studio “RG Animation” which – basically – seems to be Aaron Lim and Kang Deok Kim. The bear is called “Backkom” – he is choleric, impatient and ill-fated like Donald Duck was in the old cartoons.
Their website is a little out of fashion and slooow and I can neither read or write Korean, but by using the famous Ninja move “Blind Button Click” I managed to unearth a page where you can watch and download 16 Backkom-movies and the trailer for “Mug Travel”. My favourite is “Contact 2” – it’s funny, full of little ideas and nicely raytraced.
