Japander is a combination of the words ‘Japan’, which stands – foolproof – for Japan and ‘Pander’ a nobler word for a pimp. It describes a Hollywood celebrity trying to earn big bucks in Nippon the fast way. Thanks to the Internet we can watch these bizarre masterpieces online since 2003. (The compression algorithms of 2003 only were sufficient for small movies I’m afraid.)
