The In-Sect: It's life itself!

Who's the World's most famous Wrestler?

Wrestling may be the oldest sport in mankind’s short history, invented by our ape-like ancestors and already almost perfected on the first schoolyard somewhere near Ur in nowadays Iraque. It developed in different branches, some for overweight men, like Sumo, some more martial like gladiatorial competitions, which normally ended with 50% of the participants more or less dead.
Thank God we are more civilized than that and have Show Wrestling!

Browsing through my archive I found an old article and began to wonder: Who is the most famous Wrestler? Hulk Hogan came to my mind and Jacob and the Angel. But are the U.S. really the mekka for wrestling? Or Japan? Turkey? Suddenly it struck me: Lucha-Libre! It stood at the cradle of modern show wrestling and was already bruised and torn.

And who is the most famous Mexican wrestler? Santo was! This guy made 60! movies, (Hulk, do you hear me?), has got his own cartoon and comic book! He was buried with his mask – now ain’t that style?

And his son has got an impressive website full of Santo devotionalia for you to dive into:
El Hijo del Santo
(It’s flash and not easy to navigate, but definetely worth the try)
By the way: Nacho Libre!
